A cleric of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elder Fredric Akinbo, advocated the strengthening of Families for a better society.
Akinbo spoke about "Strengthening faith in our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ through Sabbath Day observance."
He explained that the Church lays much emphasis in strengthening the family because the institution remains the bedrock of any society in the World.
He further emphasized on the need to keep the Sabbath Day holy as commanded by God.
Akinbo made these submissions during the 10th Lagos Nigeria West Stake Conference of the Church held recently in Llagos. A stake is similar to a diocese.
